Pebbles Beach, Barbados
Pebbles Beach is on the outskirts of Bridgetown on the South West Coast of Barbados. It is archetypal Caribbean: swaying palm trees, soft white sand, calm, crystal clear aquamarine waters, glass bottom boats and yachts, plus a gentle breeze and croaking tree frogs in the evening.
Very early most mornings, the grooms from Garrison Savannah, one of the oldest horse racing tracks in the Americas, bring racehorses to bathe in the water at the north end of the beach.
