Madame Patti’s Enthusiastic Reception
Madame Patti paid her first visit to North Wales on Saturday, and opened the new Victoria Pier Pavilion at Colwyn Bay. The town was decorated, and the Council presented the prima donna with an illuminated album, containing views of the district and an address of welcome. The route from the station to the Pavilion was lined with cheering crowds. Madame Patti sang three songs, including “Home Sweet Home,” which aroused immense enthusiasm.
